So you already have 45 rivalry...
Sep. 19th, 2015 09:48 pmFenris was not pleased with this. He was not pleased at all. In fact, he'd really rather be anywhere but here - which he would be if not for Hawke. She seemed to be under the impression that he needed to apologize to the brat, which is how he ended up glaring resentfully at the staircase of the Hanged Man with the rogue standing calmly beside him, chattering about Varric's latest story.
"Where is that child? You said he would be here." Clearly, Fenris was not starting this with a full serving of patience.
"Give it a few more minutes. He's bound to come down sometime," Hawke replied in her best don't-lose-your-patience-or-I'll-drag-you-out-of-here-by-your-pointy-ears voice.

he can beat that

Date: 2015-09-20 04:32 am (UTC)"I doubt it," Fenris grumbled, but he meandered over anyway. Hawke was painfully persistent when she wanted something, so it was just easier to go along with this minor irritation than endure her efforts to convince him.
He had no idea why he had to make nice with the abomination's pet human. It didn't matter to him what the pest thought.

Date: 2015-09-20 05:09 am (UTC)"Pan? Fenris has something he'd like to say. Don't you, Fenris?" Hawke gave the elf a pointed look.
"Liking has nothing to do with it. You of all people should know that," he groused.

Date: 2015-09-20 05:14 am (UTC)"No, not until you both make up." She was using the tone of voice that indicated she would brook no argument...
Fenris tried anyway. "I've done nothing wrong."
this is prolly about when fen gets a headache
Date: 2015-09-20 05:17 am (UTC)So much for brooking no argument.
He's had one for an hour because Hawke doesn't know the meaning of "surrender"
Date: 2015-09-20 05:22 am (UTC)Fenris looked at Pan to see if he intended to do as Aisling said. He was silent, though, refusing to be the first one to speak up.
i meant from pan
Date: 2015-09-20 05:26 am (UTC)I know. He won't notice the difference
Date: 2015-09-20 06:20 pm (UTC)"I was being insufferable, was I? As I recall, I didn't stoop to spitting. I simply called the mage exactly what he is - an abomination." The elf had a headache already, and it was getting worse by the moment - probably because of this exercise in futility. He had done literally nothing wrong in his reckoning, so this was entirely unnecessary. "He's possessed. Even someone such as you should have figured that out by now."
Hawke shot Fenris a look. "Not helping."

"Fuck off, both of you."

Date: 2015-09-20 07:32 pm (UTC)"Maker," Aisling sighed. "Look, I'm just trying to avoid bouts of kneebiting from cropping up in the future. I've had that talk with Fenris already - several times, in fact. And I can hardly be faulted for not speaking up when you jumped in before I could so much as take a breath. I wouldn't ask Anders to deal with Fenris at all if it weren't completely necessary, but he's the best healer I've ever met, and that includes my sister. Without him, there's a good chance that some of the people I take along won't survive. I refuse to have that on my conscience."
She didn't want an apology from either of them, honestly. What she wanted was a ceasefire, however tenuous. This scheme had been an attempt to force one - though it wasn't well thought out, she had to admit. But maybe Pan would at least see reason. If not, well... She would think of something else.
